A short fluted column swells into a ring of carved acanthus leaves at both the capital and the base, almost mirroring each other above and below the shaft, before settling onto a chamfered square plinth — a more symmetrical, pedestal-like take on the classical column than the taller pieces in this series.

Modeled in 3ds Max and rendered with V-Ray, the .max file works well as a pedestal, plinth, or short decorative column in an architectural visualization scene, and holds up equally well as a standalone ornament study.
